Guidelines for Ph.D. and Master's Degree Examinations

  • Students should have completed all the required courses (Ph.D. students must have passed the qualifying examination). Logging into the system to complete the application for the semester in which they plan to graduate.

  • Application period:
    Stage one (Review all credits)-
    For the 1st semester, from August 1 to November 30. For the 2nd semester, from February 1 to April 30.
    Stage two (Oral examination)-
    For the 1st semester, from August 1 to January 16. For the 2nd semester, from February 1 to July 16.

  • The examination must be executed by an Examination Committee organized and formed by the Institute.

  • After the examination has been completed, the Institute should report, in writing, the grade to the Office of Academic Affairs.

Guidelines for Direct Admission into Ph.D. Program

  • Two recommendations from the departmental faculty members (Professor or Associate Professor) are required.

  • Excellent academic achievement as evaluated by the Department.

  •  Undergraduate students who have been accepted into a Ph.D. program must complete his/her bachelor’s degree in the same academic year and enroll in the new program in the subsequent academic year.

  • Application Deadlines:
    February 1 for undergraduate students; July 31 for master’s students.

Graduation Procedures for Graduate Students

  • After passing the oral examination, the grade of the degree examination must be submitted to the Office of Academic Affairs. Please log into the Registration System to print the procedure form between July 10 and August 15.

  • Graduation Deadline: August 15.

  • The diploma will not be issued until the completion of the graduation procedures, including redemption of the student ID and the submission of the thesis to the Office of Academic Affairs.
